Recently my 7 year old LG Smart TV that I have in my office area died. I researched fixing it but that would be expensive. So I decided to buy another smart TV. My main focus was going to be a Samsung Smart TV.
I researched on price. I figure if I can get 7 years out of smart TV, that is good. So I set a budget for $500 dollars.
I bought the Samsung Electronics UN58MU6070EXZA Flat 58″ 4K UHD 6 Series Smart TV. The price was right. I got it for under $400 dollars. I don’t think this TV will last 10yrs. For where I’m putting it in the house. I will be happy to get 4 to 5 years out of the TV. My main selling points where the brand, the 3 HDMI ports and the price.

Update 5/5/23. This TV is still going strong. No issues at all.
